Winter Drop Off by Liebke Tyres

Our Community has been hit hard over these last few months, but there are a few modest heroes that are helping to pick up the pieces and hold everyone together.

The business we would like to acknowledge this month is Liebke Tyres.

Liebke Tyres is a family-owned and operated Toowoomba business providing outstanding customer care and service for vehicle owners needing to replace their tyres and can cater for all your automotive servicing & repair needs.

This business along with the business owners Chris & Lorena Liebke, have been tirelessly working to do their bit to help our community. They have started a Drop off for those in need, at their shop in Clifford Street. They would love to help Homeless and at-risk people in our community as best as they can during this winter. So, if anyone has any spare blankets, socks or gloves, please help to do your bit and drop them off down at 46 Clifford Street, Toowoomba.

Chris Liebke said “COVID-19 is having a huge effect on this city. Unemployment, homelessness and destitution are spiking and that is NOT acceptable, especially leading into winter. We are setting up a drop off zone at our shop at 46 Clifford St. Pretty much EVERYBODY reading this can chip in. BASE SERVICES require the following BEFORE WINTER HITS HARD!!!!!

500 x pairs of socks
100 x blankets

You’ve all got 10 spare pairs of socks, and you’ve all got mothers, aunties and grandmothers that love to knit. Give them something to do and maybe save a life.”
